I am trying to trace a John Darlington Lloyd born in Chester circa 1900. He married Elizabeth Woodworth, I am trying to trace his birth so that I can trace his family. His father on his marriage certificate is Richard Lloyd, but this isnt his real father so I am told.

Hi Elizabeth :)

It could be coincidence but I think I've 'stumbled' over a clue perhaps?

Hi Lynda, Thanks for the reply, I have found these two families on the census returns, have kept a record of them just in case. I don't think the Richard Lloyd is the right one. I have found a Richard Lloyd married to a Catherine/Caroline (not sure of the name as unclear), he fits the bill as Richard was supposed to have been a Fish and Game Dealer, which this Richard is. But there is no trace of John. From his dealth certicate he was born Oct 1900. Thank you again. Elizabeth
