Dear Each,
I had been searching for a chap for some time. I had him, his wife and his one year old son on the 1871 census for Fulham. Then he vanished taking young family with him. I looked EVERYWHERE for him to no avail. I was getting more and more frustrated with each 'blank' that I drew. I thought to myself "What would some of the more experienced of our freinds here do?" well, the first thing that popped into my head was, "Geoffers would make a cup of tea!". Well, Each, I made a cup of tea and by the time I had finished it I had the answer! I stopped looking for the invisible man and looked for his wife. There she was where I had left her in 1871! He, of course, had fallen over! I have learned several things here. Step back from what you are doing, when stuck, and you will hopefully get an entirely different view of the problem. Allow for things 'out of the ordinary', in this case somebody passing on at a young age - not everybody makes it to three score years and ten! Never underestimate the power of a cup of tea! :D
