John Sewell c 1831 married Mary Douglas c 1834 Scotland children
James Sewell b 1853 Carlisle
John Sewell b 1857 he moved to Northumberland
William Sewell b 1867
Robert Sewell b 1870 married Mary Mcknight b 1871

Hello Audrey,

It is good to see you here.

Do you have the certificate of marriage for Robert and Mary and were
they married in Church? (I am going to the Castle tomorrow) so could
get a copy of the parish record, which I always think is nice to have.

However Cockermouth registration district covers a fair old area, so
could do with knowing where abouts in the district they were wed.

yes I do have the marriage cert for Robert & Mary its the one for John Sewell to Mary Douglas I need they were living Botchergate in 1851 both unmarried James Sewell the first son was born june 1853 so John & mary Married between those dates pos REG office if only I could find this I would then know the name of John and Marys father the children were christend st Marys and St Cuthberts
