Looking for a William williamson who married a Kezia Pott in 1817 at stockport st Mary's and had a child called jane williamson in 1817.who was baptised at Taxal in 1821. William also seems to have been married to Jemima Pott <kesia's sister> in 1809 at Prestbury she died 1816 age 30.I have searched for them but could anyone who has access to a 1841 census for stockport have a look Kezia is quite an awful name not many people used it thanks

Do you need the details of the marriages?If so I should be able to see film of the PRs.It would help if you let me know the exact dates of the marriages.

You may be out of luck with Kezia for the 1841 Census.Freebmd has a death for Kezia Williamson Mar qtr Stockport Vol 19 P 241.Idid find the two marriage entries if you need them.

The IGI had the wrong date for this marriage.

William WILLIAMSON widower of this Parish, labourer & Kezia POTT of this Parish weremarried...by Banns...this 28th Dec 1817.William signeD, Kezia marked. Witnesses G?????? HINE & John WOOD (serial witness).
