I couldn't decide the best place to put this, so have ended up here

By pure chance I have discovered that the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (which can normally be viewed on-line by subscription only, unless you view it on a library computer) will be free to view by anyone during the coming weekend

Best wishes

Is it worth the effort of remembering? ;)
After all, the whole set of books is only £7,500 - some of my family history stuff is in the lounge, some in the bedroom, so I'll have two, to save the effort of walking from one room to another. :D

Thanks, Ann - I know there are a couple of mine in there who I only have a note of, not the actual text, and there may be a few there who I haven't looked for yet.
:)

Only two sets - I spend so much of my time moving files from one room to another, I'd need at least four....... ;)
