help I AM RESEARCHING THE CRUSE FAMILY WHO COME FROM IMBER I am trying to find out about a william cruse born 1827 in imber I have been unable to find ANY cruse family members in the 1841 census has anybody got any info

I found a marriage record for a William Cruse in Marlborough, Wiltshire for Dec qtr 1838. One of the possible brides is Sarah Bailey. Does this sound right?

Found a Lucy Cruse age 20 in the 1841 census for St. Mary the Virgin, Marlborough, Wiltshire: HO107/1189/3 13B, occupation: (looks like) F.T., born in county=yes.

Will keep looking.

Found Elizabeth Cruise age 25 with children Richard age 6 and Jane age 2 in the 1841 census for Marlborough Union Workhouse, Wiltshire: HO107/1185/12 3B, occupation: (for Eliz.) pauper (ag lab), (for children) pauper, all born in county.

Hi my Alice M. SWEETLAND born 1875 at Sth Wraxall married Arthur CRUSE at Bradford on Avon in March 1904. Alice died at the age of 44yrs. Don't know if this may help at all.

i am a cruse desendant. i am thinking that i have a william cruse father of a James cruse who went to australia married a jane evans and had a family etc. James was born in 1821 but i cant' find anything on him. possibly you may have something? just thougt i would touch base.

thankyou for your list Itoo have these names in my tree my william1827 is the son of susan cruse rummer is that his father was robert hooper but still have not found any cruse in imber in 1841 they must be there but not recorded
