Three Counties Mental Hospital

Can sks advise me which 3 counties were covered by the above hospital? I have it as a place of death for an ancestor in 1920. Death is registered in Biggleswade.

The three counties covered were Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire and Hertfordshire.

If you go to www.mdx.ac.uk and follow the menus you will find an index for all mental hospitals and on page 31 of 80 you will find details of the Three Counties Mental Hospital.
