Hello, I'm a new member to this board. Would enjoy exchanging any information on either of these two villages. My interest is in the PETERS and COX families.
My earliest information is of James Peters and Mary Cox married in Tirley 1789. I think James may have come from Newent.

Just came across your interest in a Mary Cox of Tirley. Well I wonder if it has any connection with the Mary Cox in my tree?
Mary Cox born 1827 Upton Magna who in 1861 was living in Eldersfield and then by 1871 living in Tirley where she died in 1872. She married James DUNN.
Any connections.
