WANTED: Proxy Tourist

I live in Toronto, Canada. I lived in Hounslow and came to Canada in 1957 with my parents. My ancestors lived in Iver for over 300 years and I didn't know it. I've been back to Hounslow a couple of times, but I've never been to Iver. I'd love to take a vacation, go to Iver, maybe stop at the Oaklands Guest house and just look around. But I can't.

So I'm asking if anyone in or near Iver who has the time and a digital camera, could wander around Iver and take some photos and email them to me. I'm especially interested in Swallow Street, Love Green and Shredding Green. This is a one off job, the pay is nil, no health coverage, no pension. This is equal opportunity employment. took a diversion on the way into work this morning ... down Swallow Street, past its junction with Love Green Lane, and onto Shredding Green Farm at the southerly end.

Didn't appear to be a very photogenic area but snapped some of Shredding Green Farm.

Didn't manage to bump into Oaklands Guest House.

Mark, Thanks for the response. I only know the Oaklands Guest House from the Internet. It's on Bangors Lane and advertizes twenty pounds per night, with breakfast. Not too bad !!
