Looking for parents of Thomas Rawlinson, labourer, who married Margaret Askew(aged 20), schoolmistress, in 1850 at Lowick Chapel near Ulverston. I know about their children. His father William is described as a farmer on the marriage certificate. Thomas's residence is given as Riddings.
Also trying to track down where Margaret came from. No father named on marriage certificate.Her residence was Beckbottom. There was a Maragaret born of a spinster Isabella, but the year isn't quite right. The names Isabel/Isabella have cropped up regularly in the family, however.
I'd be grateful for a pointer in the right direction.
