Has anyone dealt with them on purchasing books? There appears to be quite an interesting selection of books on the Peninsula Wars and I'm interested in that period of history.

Perfectly reputable organisation. Check alternative suppliers (price and postage) but that's standard advice for any purchase!
I agree with Peter. It is also well worth looking at the bookshop's bargain section and keeping your eyes open for when they have a 'sale', as some prices can be greatly reduced.
Best wishes

Thank ypu Peter and Ann.
Some books that interest me are greatly reduced and the 3 books I would like are going to cost me more in shipping [14.00GBP] than the cost of the books.
I think I'll wait for the "Flea Markets" to open in April
Hi Colin,
Have you tried Abebooks, online? I've ordered military books through them - they have some bookstores in Canada. They're used books, but in good shape.
I've also ordered family history books through amazon (UK division) when I couldn't get them through the .ca division, and found the UK prices and service usually better than the Canadian.

There is also the Family History Bookshop (http://www.parishchest.com/Family_History_Bookshop__LDD1680) and Family History Reference Books (http://www.parishchest.com/Family_History_Reference_Books_CDs___LDD6774), both available from our sponsors, Parish Chest (http://www.parishchest.com/home). :smile5:
