Petit/Pettit born Mortlake 1805?

Could anyone please confirm the birthdate of Charles Petit/Pettit born Mortlake 1806 according to his age on the 1851 census for Clerkenwell, However the Family Search IGI gives it as 1805 with parents James and Lucy.
Are there parish records going back this far? Any help appreciated.

Such age differences are not uncommon and could easily be accounted for by when his birthday occurred.

Thanks for that, however i was trying to confirm that the Charles was the same as the age was different and the spelling of surname. I know that both details can be ignored generally but in the interest of accuracy thought i might try to see if some kind soul had access to the parish records.
