It is terrible, isn't it ? I had today 'pencilled in' to go down to The National Archives and Family Records Centre. Obviously glad I never went now. Not that I'd have been near, I just wouldn't have been able to go anywhere by Tube.

I am in an office just round the corner from the Society of Genealogists in London and since 9.30 there have been almost continuous sounds of emergency vehicles passing by. It is still a big shoch though. You never think that is going to happen so close to you.

Shocking. Sickening.
My love and thoughts are sent to all who may be involved or suffering in some way. For those who are still there I hope you stay safe.

I echo Jo's message - stay safe, God bless and comfort all who have suffered in whatever way, and strengthen and support all emergency staff.

May I join you in sending my deepest sympathy to those who have been injured in this dreadful attack and my complements to the emergency staff.

My thoughts and prayers to all involved in yesterday's horror in London and must express my feelings of pride when watching the rescue organisation and information sessions on TV.
Everyone from Helen to Marion has expressed our collective feelings about these monstrous acts so well. If I may add my voice to theirs: To all of you who are directly or indirectly affected, please know that our hearts -- around the world -- are with you.

For those of you who knew I was in London and was planning to go to First Avenue house, Holborn on Thursday - there was already a problem on the Tube, so I was delayed starting out, so didn't get there. If I had gone 10 minutes earlier, I would have been caught up in in the chaos. My sister was heading for Liverpool Street so was caught up in it but apart from walking through London for 5 hours, she got home safely.
I am back home in the safety of North Wales, thank you for all the messages.
My thoughts are with those and their families who were affected.
No more that I can say.
PS Mythology and I were planning to meet up but as neither of us made it, we are both safe!:)
