I am looking for a little help with my 3x great Grandmother Elizabeth Chivers (nee Powell), she was married in Pontypool, Monmouthshire in 1862 to a Timsbury born coal miner named William Chivers and would together have ten children, William would die in Pontypool in 1901 but Elizabeth would live until the ripe old age of ninety five in 1937, Pontypool.
I need to go further beyond her through and try and find a bit more information I know from her marriage that her Father was named Isaac and that she lived in garndiffaith, I have looked at the 1851 census and there are only two Isaac Powell's living in Pontypool area one was born in 1848 so is obviously not the Isaac I am looking for and the other Isaac born in 1815 in what is listed as Ructon.
I would be grateful for any help given thank you.

looking at the 1851 Census (HO107/2449/452 page 19) for Cwmfrrwddist, Trevethin, Monmouthshire it appears to be Elizabeth's family
Isaac POWELL b. abt. 1815 in Ructon, Hampshire occ: Labourer In Fire Work
Mary POWELL b. abt. 1815 in Langibby, Monmouthshire
Ann POWELL b. abt. 1839 in Langibby, Monmouthshire
Elizabeth POWELL b. abt. 1841 in Lanvihangle Pontmoil, Monmouthshire
George POWELL b. abt. 1845 in Lanvihangle Pontmoil, Monmouthshire
Isaac POWELL b. abt. 1848 in Lanvihangle Pontmoil, Monmouthshire
Mary POWELL b. 1850 in Trevethin, Monmouthshire

it's possible that Isaac died before the 1861 Census and that his widow, Mary, was Housekeeper to David MORGAN at 1, Penywaun Row, Bedwellty, Rumney (RG09//4002/35 page 14), whilst her daughter Mary was a Servant there.
