I am trying to work out what the name of this pasture land (and it's location is) that my direct ancestor Henry Hale left to his daughter joan.

Gloucester? If true, it means he had property in another county. :)

I'll do some research into that to see if that's the case. Thanks so much :D

Beckford is right on the county border, formerly in Gloucestershire, now officially in Worcestershire.

I see. Thank you. Beckford is some distance from Kington (where Henry lived). Now I'm wondering how the pasture land (or the proceeds of the pasture land) came to be in his possession. By marriage, maybe? I love clues like this. :D

Oh my gosh! I've found a 1626 will of a Henry Hale yeoman of Beckford. :D
