Incoming passengers to London 1887

On NZ'z Papers Past web site I have found the following passengers departing Lyttleton on 30 April 1887 on the ss Arawa bound for London:
Mr Tuson, age 49
Mrs Tuson, age 45
Miss Tuson, age 18
I also found them arriving in Bluff from Melbourne a few days earlier. Unfortunatley the PROV records (Outwards from Victoria) does not give christian names or initials either.

I'd like to find who they were if that is at all possible.

Unable to find either the family or the ship in 1887.

Perhaps the records have not survived.

I fear Doug is correct.

Although the series BT 26 ostensibly begins in 1878, many passenger lists were destroyed by the Board of Trade in 1900. In practice, there are relatively few incoming lists before 1890, and most (if not all?) are arrivals from the US/Canada.

I have a suspicion the 'Mr' was a James Tuson who was Mayor of Ararat (VIC) during the 19th century.
According to my research in Australia he went to England on holiday in 1887 but the ages quoted on the PROV web site do not agree with those that I have. For example, I can definitely prove that James was born in 1830 which would have made him 57 in 1887 not 49 as transcribed. I suppose the transciption could be incorrect and it would be necessary to view the fiche at PROV..
The other possibility would be to look at the Australian incoming records at PROV for later in the year. If it was James then the three outwards travellers should appear ------ I'm off to check the web site right now.

I should have had that brainwave before I posted the reply!!!!
There are Mr Jas Tuson (50), Mrs Tuson (45) and Miss Tuson (20) listed arriving in jan 1888 via the Lusiitania. I think it safe to assume they were the three outward passengers I initially queried, just the ages a bit out!!!
