Could some kind person look up the Family of Edward & Ann Lawad on the 1871 Yorkshire census please?
Edward was born c 1809 in Ireland, Ann c1810. They have at least 2 children William and Alexander ? born Yorkshire.

I have doubts this is Lawad by the way. La??m perhaps? The last letter appears to be the same as the m at the end of William - but I must confess that my mother is disgusted at my lack of ability to read the older script.
