Thomas LOWE (1814-1872) emigrated from Norfolk to Canada in 1850; and from Canada moved south to settle in Madison County, New York State. He was a widower and travelled with several children. Once in America, he married another Norfolk emigree, Sarah BARNES; whilst his eldest son, John married Mary BARNES, a relative of Sarah. Thomas was buried at Pratt's Hollow.
His children and most of their subsequent families stayed in Madison County, or nearby.
Surnames of families into which Thomas's children married include:
BURTON, COX, CROSS, HOSTLER (believed to be another Norfolk family), MANCHESTER, BEERS, RANNEY, SWITZER.
No real puzzles, just posting this in case anyone recognizes names in future.
