posts in wrong place

I've just posted a reply in the wrong place and wanted to delete it so i could send a new post. I went to edit and scrapped my message and saved changes only to be told that i had to have three characters to do that. As time was running out i just put that i had posted wrongly. Is there a way to delete a post if you have put it in the wrong place. ?

Only the Administrator or Moderators can delete posts. I see the post that you are referring to, so I'll delete it for you.
