Today I got copies of two wills from the Somerset Record Office which include bequests to my great great grandmother, Martha Eddington. I now know she was the illegitimate daughter of Mary Eddington, who was the niece of William Hayman and of Elizabeth Hayman. They each left her well provided for. Now I need to find out who her father was.
