Bolus/bolas Surname

HI----I apologise that i seem to be "spraying" postings across many pages of this excellent Site......but: somebody may look at only one of the pages , and he/she may be the one who can help ):):
Any info from anyone who has come across the Bolus/Bolas surname please:
to narrow it down :
19th and 20th centuries: Willenhall, Staffs
18th and 19th centuries: Birmingham/Aston (briefly); prior to that,mainly in rural parishes between B-ham and Coventry eg Sheldon, Meriden, Curdworth, Maxstoke, etc
16th,17th and 18th centuries: Worcs:Halesowen, Oldswinford.
