Plumstead parish records

Looking for Plumstead parish records 1766-1798. These are not listed in LDS catalogue. Can anyone know if they have survived and if so, where they are held?

Many of the parishes along the Thames didn't find their way into the IGI.
Archive CD Books (http://www.parishchest.com/shop/index.php?cmd=listlinkeditems&cat=D10685&supplier=&breadcrumb=Parish+Registers%3ALondon%3AParish+Regi sters+listed+by+Supplier:Archive+CD+Books+Ltd) has many of the London Parish Register Transcripts on CD

but I don't think this is one of them

Docklands Ancestors (http://www.parishchest.com/shop/index.php?cmd=viewproduct&cat=&id=P85959&pageOffset=1) has transcripts of many of the Dockland and Thameside parishes on CD and fiche.

Volume 4 in their Thames Riverside series contains St Nicholas, Plumstead but they're all later than the dates you quote.

Looking at the LMA database they list registers for St Nicholas, Plumstead that go back with gaps to 1654.

Select London Borough of Greenwich and put Plumstead in the search phrase.

If you look at the London Metropolitan Archives online database, you'll find quite a lot of parish records covering this period - such as:-

To confuse the issue, the ancient parish was St Margaret but became St Nicholas when a new church was built in the 19th century. LMA have clearly plumped to list them all under St Nicholas but it's not impossible that you might find them listed elsewhere under St Margaret.

It might be worthwhile to approach the Greenwich Local Studies centre (I forget its official title) because I think the LMA is fairly expensive unless you can get there in person.
