I've got two related questions:
I've found several relevant graves at St John Burslem but then there's a break of at least 30 years before I find people in the Burslem Cemetery (which I understand started up in 1879). The St Johns graveyard looks like it's been tidied up and there's a new road. Am I correct in assuming that the yard extended further than it does now?
Is there any other place other than St Johns that a non-conformist (in this case methodist) could be buried in the area before 1879?
Many thanks
