Just wondering if any of you wonderful people can read the reference number to this marriage entry please?

Marjorie, Florence MOLLER to Collins Oct-Dec 1934 at Bromley, Kent.

Is it 2a 1368 or 1568?

Thanks

It's definitely 1568 BV. I looked at 150% and it was quite clear

Were you by any chance having trouble getting the full name of her spouse. I initially checked on Anc.... and it had problems locating him so I looked at the indexes on FMP and he was Joseph JE Collins Bromley 2a 1568

Oh thanks NTA!

I had'nt thought of approaching it from the spouse's angle - your IQ's definitely higher than mine......

Not really :smile5: It was a long time before I discovered FreeBMD and suchlike so the time was all I could do was spend a lot of time poring over the indexes.

No-one in our family knew (or was willing to tell me) what happened to my maternal grandfather after he left his family in the 1930's so I trawled through 40 years of death indexes and was about to give up when I discovered he died in Nottingham in 1980, aged 81. Now all I need to do is stick him on Anc. and I've got him in seconds
