Hello!
One of my ancestors arrived at London in 1872. He found a place in Manchester in September that year. On August 28, 1873, he went aboard the English steamer City of Paris at Liverpool to cross the Atlantic. Like him I am a mechanic but times are different so that I shall not move to America. I have been to California last year. Many years ago I was in the U K, first time Hastings, later Berkhamsted, and Kent.
I'm 48 and some, work week by week. But slowly by the time questions do come up that won't let go. First I'd like to find out about a very thin thread I have in Kent.
