I ordered 2 certs from GRO on the 11th June, very excited as they arrived today, great service I thought. Neither of them had the info I had asked for!

What - as in they sent the completely wrong certificates, or that the parents or whatever were not what you hoped for?

If they sent you the wrong certificates completely then they will send the correct ones if you explain. If you ordered what they sent, but they are not the people you hoped - well, that is one of the risks of ordering certificates which we all run.

Yes Mark they sent completely wrong certs. both of them. I know they will send the correct ones eventually but it is frustrating having to wait!

It is - especially when they were so prompt in the first place. I think waiting for the certificates to arrive is the worst part of genealogy!

I had exactly the same happen to me!
They sent the other marriage that was on the page of my ancestors.
What are they up to??

Maybe you and Abbreviation can just exchange families? Nah.... it wouldn't be that easy. Good luck to you both while you are getting it sorted out.

Both correct certs. arrived today, both what I was hoping for! Lucky me. Sue hope yours has been sorted out as well
