I know how to do paragraph breaks in my notes on Tribal pages "<p>" but how can use bold technique? I wish to highlight some Titles on my home page but don't know what techno codes I should be using.

Ooh - I have not tried that on my page but, if it follows the same coding as is used here on Brit-Gen, then <B> could be the way to go.
If it uses html, then <b> or <B> at the front of the word/sentence you want in bold, then, at the end of the sentence, </b> or </B>
In html, most of the "codes" use the </whatever> at the end - with that little slash being important!

Thank you Jan and Mark :) I shall give it a shot! And I will remember the /!
If you get stuck, copy the basics over to me and I am happy to take a look (or send me the URL via PM).

<b> </b> worked like a charm Mark :) Thanks. Now I wonder if there are any other little codes I can use :)
I wanted to highlight the names of the family lines because all you get in edit mode is caps for emphasis, so this worked out great and improves the look grandly! :)

If you have a nose around the interwebby, there are plenty of sites aimed at showing people how to build a website - those are what I would go for to discover a few little tricks with simple html :)
Once you get the basics, you can change colours of words, make them italic, different font or size..... all sorts of fun.

Ooo! I didn't realize that this was possible on TP. Thanks for this Vanessa.:yesnod: Paragraphs have been really bugging me and now I know I can bold to the sky's the limit (well nearly).
