Hi wonder if anyone can help i am looking for the the death of a William John Bond in records it said he died age 25 yrs and buried 23/11/1900 but he apparently isnt in a grave itself in his home. He apparently was in the boer war and someone on another site has said there is a tree on ancestry that says he died in Dewetsdrop OF South Africa at the date above(i dont have access to ancestry). I have managed to find out via google that there was a battle of Dewetsdrop Orange Free state 21-23 Nov 1900.He was born in Charlton Kings Glos c1875.

Thank you so very much the details i will be able to pass it onto my dad and cousin they will also be pleased. It also answers a question that my dads cousin asked as the verger of wj Bond home town wondered why he was named on a grave but it is recorded his body isnt.
