Recent Death - Cremation Ruislip UK

John 'Eric' WATTS - born 1920 Dawley. died in last 18mths or so
Hillingdon. Creamted Ruislip. I am searching for a copy of
the Death Notice that would have appreared in local paper,
any suggestion greatly appreciated. Novice in Australia.

I just spent some time browsing the Hillingdon Times. It seems that the announcements section has been moved but there is an archive and advanced search feature. If you know which month he died in you can look http://www.hillingdontimes.co.uk/. You might wish to contact the paper and have them look it up for you. It may be that there was no announcement placed in the paper. Is there next of kin? I recently looked on google for an obit and couldn't find it since I just typed the name normally instead of reversing it as surname, first name.

If it is of any help: Breakspear Crematorium (Ruislip) has a web site - just google - they may be able to help you with a date of cremation or any other info that you are looking for.
