Hi everybody, just heard from our side of the world that there are no planes flying into the UK today, wow that must be a first.
I have not joined a forum before even though I have been researching for some years. I am really stuck looking for some military history & hoping somebody will give me some clues to follow. I hope I can assist somebody else along the way. I enjoy Bonsai, family & local history.
Thanks

I would like a comment from Fewson Hopper as he may be a relative. My gt gt grandfather was also called Fewson Hopper, born 1822 and was captain/coxswain of the UK's Spurn (now Humber) lifeboat 1865-77. The name Fewson has been used by several generations of my family

Hello porkchop1 - welcome to Brit-Gen,
Unfortunately, Fewson Hopper has not visited the forum for a couple of years. However, they are still a member and, if you click on their user name, a drop-down box appears. One of the options is for sending an email, which you may find to be a speedier means of contact. :smile5:
