Hi Folks

I am seeking details of the birth/baptism of my 2 x great grandmother Harriett Crockett.

According to the marriage cert. (which I have) on 15 April 1838 at Amersham Parish Church William Phillips of full age bachelor occupation chair maker (address Whitfield Street? Amersham) married Harriett Crockett spinster of full age a dress maker (address High Street Amersham). William's father is given as Thomas Phillips occupation Grocer and Harriett's father is given as William Crockett occupation is Higgler?
The witnesses were Charles Crockett (could this be a brother of Harriett), and Fred Priest?

It is possible that Harriett's mother was called Sarah.

The 1851 and 1861 Census indicate that Harriett was born in Amersham. In the 1851 Census a John Crockett Lodger born abt. 1823 in Amersham (possibly another brother of Harriett) is living with Harriett and her family.

Any help to identify the correct parents and siblings would be gratefully appreciated.

many thanks

Richard
