Hello Everyone

I am trying to find out what happened to my above ancestors. I have a death record showing that Richard died in 1868 in the district of Oswetry in Denbighshire/Shropshire. Could someone please help me out by clarifying in which county Oswetry was at that time Denbighshire or Shropshire.

I have a record showing that Hannah died in the district of Wrexham in 1866 and the county is shown as Cheshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire? Today Wrexham seems to in the county of Clwyd but which county would it have been a part in 1866?

Are Ruabon, Oswetry and Wrexham fairly close to each other?
