I would be most grateful if someone, who has access to the 1861 census of Salford,would look up -
Samuel Chapman 33, wife Catherine Chapman-32 and Mary Chapman-2. In 1871 they were living at 19 Harrison St Salford. Samuel was a baker.

Sorry to be so late in replying. We have been out of town for a month! Yes this is the family I am looking for-thanks for looking it up. I have just learnt that the 1861 census is now on ancestry. This should make life easier for everyone.
