Marriage certificate

I wish to order a copy of the marriage certificate for
William Kirkham and Jane Griffith who I believe were
married in Oswestry, Denbighshire on 13.04.1880.
The certificate number I believe is 6a 1199

The easiest way to do this is from the General Register Office (http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/) - click the link and follow the links in the site.

The reference that you have given is the volume number (6a) and page number (1199). You will also need to tell them that the marriage took place in the June quarter of 1880 and that the registration district is Oswestry.
