Gideon Shaw who had connections to Castleford Tigers Rugby Club and his son Neville known to be a jocky in the Castleford area

I believe Gideon Shaw was the manager of the Great Britian Rugby League team in 1954. And the Great Britian team won the World cup in France that year. Captain of that team was Dave Valentine. Plus if i have got this right i think he is my Great Great Great Uncle. Or something like that.
(My grandads grandad was his brother) if you get that???
