Actually replied to another post looking for information. Probably a mistake.
Looking for information on Donald MacLennan born abt 1808 in Stornoway. His grave stone in Port Morien (Cow Bay), Cape Breton says he was a native of Stornoway. He immigrated to Canada around 1850ish with his wife Christina Campbell and three sons: John, Alexander and Malcolm. They first went to Kincardine, Ontario, Canada, had two daughters and then setted in Nova Scotia. Perhaps living in Little Narrows for a while and then going on to Cow Bay.
He was a stone mason.
