I have been researching my husband's and my family since 2007. At present I have gone about as far as I can go on both sides, though surprises do crop up from time to time. My brick wall is my husband's grandfather, James Henry Neil, born in Plymouth, married Margaret Hannah Blackmur in North Witchford, Cambrigeshire 1899. They had two children Marjorie Charlotte and William Robert P.B. I have traced them to Scotland Dunino, Fife 1901 Scotland census but then the parents disappear and the children in 1911 census are living with grandparents in March, Cambridgeshire.
Margaret Hannah however did live to a great age in March later in the 1900s, but I cannot find her in any census. James Henry is listed as deceased on Marjories wedding certificate in 1925, also that he was a Butler. Family members seem to recall him being a soldier at some time but I have researched the military to no avail. Is there anyone who recognises the family name?
