Hello Everyone,
Is anyone having trouble, like me, logging in.?
I have had to change my password 4 times. This time it has let me in but I expect it won't the next time.
If I ask any questions and you don't receive a thank you, it will be because I can't get in.
It's very frustrating.
Thanks for listening

Hi Marina,

I have logged in several times today and encountered no issues. Are you receiving an error of some sort?

Hi Procat,
Yes it tells me that either the User name or the password is not correct. I have always been able to get in before. Thanks Marina
I then send for another password but this doesn't work either. I have done this 4 times.

Hi Marina,

When you log on the forum does a check in the background before letting you in. It will look for the User name and then match the password you have typed against what is stored in the data base. If either one does not match you will get the errors you have described. Both fields are case sensitive as well. In other words if you type your user name and did not make the S uppercase for example it will not let you log on. Or if you made the A uppercase rather than lower case it will mismatch. This sort of thing could happen if the Caps Lock key was accidentally turned on or off for example - I have done that myself a few times.

When you say you had to change your password 4 times do you mean you had to retype it because it kept telling you it was not correct? Or do you mean that it asked you to change your password after you had logged on?

A few days ago Myra was having trouble logging in. She said it seems to keep losing the password

Hi Procat,
When it said that it wasn't correct, it also said to click here if you have forgotton your password and to get a new password so I tried that 4 times and got a new password but when I logged in it came up with the same error.

Perhaps there is something going on in the background. I will get Bo Peep to see if she can see anything in your profile.

Having trouble posting a new thread with new layout. Just don't seem to be able to get to the 'post a new thread' area. Any comments?

Gordon,

Click on Forum at the top of the page, scroll down to choose the forum you want, click on that and + New Thread will appear in the top left-hand corner. Click there and you are off and running.

Bo Peep,
Thank you for your help. I have just come on this morning and I didn't have to log in at all. It just said Welcome Marina.S
I'm sure you will get it sorted out . It's such a lovely site and lovely helpful people. I did like it better the other way though.

Marina,
I never log out.
I just have bg on favourites and click on that and there it comes.
And sometimes if it comes up with the not authorised blurb I just click forum and it works fine.
