Hello to all of my English cousins:
I am John W. Clifton ,son of Richard William Clifton of Camborne Cornwall. After living in Phila for 58 years we ,my wife and I moved to Florida to escape the winter cold. I started searching the Clifton family in 1976 and have been at it ever since .( Off and On) I start with William born in 15oos and the first on record is Cornelius Bap. in 1602. In all this time I have only found two different Clifton families living in Cornwall, a small one in Helston is not mine. My Clifton's start in the Village of Week St. Mary Cornwall with branches all over Devon and Cornwall. I have enjoyed searching the Clifton's , Remember I started with a pencil and paper, no computer like I have had since 1982. I am now in my 80th year and still having fun with it , perhaps you could help me with some of my brick walls, Peace be with you all.
