Hello, everyone, another 'Newbie' to this Forum.

I have been researching the Fowke surname, and its many variations, worldwide for more than 25 years now and whilst I have a very large family tree, 90% connected, with some 650 pages of information, family history, biographies, photos, etc, I am still locating connected families that I have not been in contact with before. The main locations for the Fowke family are UK (back to 1403 in Staffordshire), USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with past locations of some earlier ancestors including India and Ceylon, There are families residing currently in Germany and France and a host of other locations too numerous to mention.

If you are connected to the Fowke family in any way I would be most interested to hear from you, to check your inclusion in my tree (or otherwise), and, if appropriate, exchange information.

I am 71 years old so am not too conversant with ALL :)the modern technology but I am very conversant with the Internet and email services.

I look forward to exchanging information and will reply to all correspondents.

Best Wishes, Ray Fowke.:) New Zealand.

Welcome to the B-G forums.

You'll find forums covering all sorts of subjects, geographic areas, occupations, historical periods, etc. It's well worth spending some time having a good look around.

Good luck with your research and if you get stuck, please ask.

Thank you. In this hobby assistance is almost a necessity if you want to progress at an acceptable rate. However, assisting others with their research is equally pleasurable.
Ray.

Hello Ray and welcome to the forum.
Age isn't a barrier around here, unless it's the age of our relatives in the census from one year to the next! I'm in correspondence with an 84 year old gentleman who has conducted a one name/one county study of my surname and he's very computer literate, and a good typist too! Good luck with your project.
