Hi, my name is Latasha i am 23 and have just started getting into my fmaily history and geneology as of yesterday, i have a few mysteries to solve involving my great grandmother who we suspect ran away from home in wales, some of my family has tried to find her before but i keen to see what i can do who knows i might finally find out about her, i am also going to write a fmaily geneology book for my grandad coz no one in his side of my family have ever written it down. I am so excited and having a awsome time i just have no idea what i am doing lol, i dnt even know if i am going to the right sites.
I cnt wait to post about all the things i have found out, because we can all learn something from our ancestors, this is a awsome new hobbie/ slash obsession i accidentely stayed up researching till 2 am last night and didnt even know it.

You will find oodles and oodles of help here...there are some very wise people!
Do note that they are doing some work on the site tonight ( or whatever it is over there) and it will be down for a few hours in about 1 1/2 hours from now. Don't worry about not knowing what you are doing - we have all been there.

If you are near a library it may be worthwhile seeing if they have any information books about doing genealogy.
