Hi

Im looking for any information on Ellen as i cannot find anything out about her

Ellen was born 1874 Royston
1881 she lived at Royston with her parents and am afraid that is all i know of her

Her parents were Thomas Drury Coote born 1850 Royston and Lucy Constable born 1850 Cambridgeshire

Also her sister i cant find anything about either

Elan M Coote born 1877 Royston,1881 Barkway Street Royston with parents

Hi,
In 1891 there is an Eleanor Coote aged 18 working as acook for the Woodhouse family High Street Royston. Looking at the original image it looks like the enumerator has put a small letter C between Eleanor and Coote, almost as an afterthought. This Eleanor was born in Royston.
The ref for the Census is RG12/1102/F83/p43

Presumably Hildin(?) M is the same person as your Elan M from the 1881 census. Looking at the birth registrations via Ancestry, I think she should be shown as Hilda Mary.

This looks like Ellen (full name Eleanor Charlotte COOTE from birth registration) in the 1891 census of Royston:

Eleanor C COOTE Servant Single 18 Cook Herts Royston

She is living in the household of Gervase WOODHOUSE, 59, Schoolmaster (Private School) and his family. Ancestry have transcribed her as Eleanore COOTE.

There is a marriage registration in the December qtr 1906 at Hatfield reg district, vol 3a, page 1283 for a Hilda Mary COOTE and the other name on the page is that of a Thomas COUSINS. In the 1911 census of Coventry, Hilda (born 1877 Royston) & Thomas (born 1881 Hitchin) COUSINS are living at 12 Foleshill Road and have 2 daughters Hilda aged 3 and Florence aged 1 both born Coventry.

In the 1901 census of Seaforth Lancashire (RG13/3444, folio 65, page 23), Eleanor is described as an unmarried Housemaid Domestic living at 21 Waterloo Road in the household of a widow Catherine MURPHY and her family. There is a marriage registration for an Eleanor Charlotte COOTE in the September qtr 1901 at West Derby reg district, vol 8b, page 1106 and one of the other names on the page is that of a James MARRIOTT. This couple appear on the 1911 census living at 5 Prescot Road, Fairfield, Liverpool, James being born c1867 at London, a Butchers Assistant, Eleanor being born c1874 at Royston and a son James Albert MARRIOTT, aged 8 born Liverpool.
