Hi,

Looking for information on the brother (James, born 1886) of Michael (age 11) and Thomas Kennedy (age 9) of Fulham, Middlesex who emigrated to Canada in 1903 with the Nugent Care Society.

Their parents names were James Kennedy and Mary Madden (Mahoney). James was baptised at the Church of St. Thomas of Canterbury, Fulham in 1886.

They lived on Chelmsford Street in the 1900s.

Thanks you.

Mary Kennedy

Hello Mary

I had a look for James - but I suspect I have only found what you already know.

1901 Census - 3 Milton Street, Fulham, London RG13 Pc57 Fo59 Pg66. The order of the census is very strange - the next household is shown as 37 Chelmsford Street and the one after that 41 Field Road
(I hope this table unscrambles or can be understood.)
Name Age in 1901 Birthplace State Relationship Occupation Civil Parish County/Island

James Kennedy 45 Fulham, London, England Widower Head Bricklayer's labourer Fulham London
James Kennedy 14 Fulham, London, England Son Fulham London
Michael Kennedy 9 Fulham, London, England Son Fulham London
Thomas Kennedy 7 Fulham, London, England Son Fulham London

Could not find them in 1891 and James (the father) is unmarried in 1881

I had a look on GenesReunited http://www.genesreunited.com/ for James Kennedy and found one born 1884 (a bit early) in Fulham. I have sent a message to the person - but have to wait to see if they respond. If she is a descendant it may be useful to you. If you do not know this site it is well worth registering (free - to enable searches) and I have found it invaluable as a member to send and receive messages for UK£7.50 per year

Kind regards

GRaham
