I'm researching the following DAY family and would be happy to hear from anyone who shares my ancestry:

George DAY (c1725 Wood Ditton - ?) and Ann MARSH (?-1779), Dullingham
George DAY (c1752 Dullingham-?) and Mary LAKE (c1753 Dullingham-?), Dullingham
George DAY (c1775-1847, Dullingham) and Hannah WRIGHT (c1777 Carlton cum Willingham-1841), Dullingham
Elizabeth DAY (c1814 Dullingham - 1882 Newmarket) and Thomas JAGGARD (c1812 Burrough Green-?), Dullingham/Stetchworth

I am related to the Days of Dullingham.
My 3x gt grandmother was Ann Day(1826-1913) she married Thomas Cootes on 4 July 1846.

Her parents were William Day (1781-1868) and Elizabeth Woollard(1786-1862)
then
George Day and Mary Lake
George Day and Ann Marsh
William Day and Bridget Smith
William Day and Elizabeth Frost. I think.
William Day and Ann Reeve.

My apologies for not replying sooner. We are definitely descended from the same Day family. Currently I'm updating the information I have on the Days and will be happy to share the information with you when this is completed. Please be patient with me a little longer.

Hi Margaret,
I have done some more research on the Day family but I can only get back with certainty to William Day and Bridget Smith.
William Day bap 1 Jan 1696 Wood Ditton son of William Day and Elizabeth Frost was bur 25 Jan 1696 and they don't appear to have had another son called William. According to the baptism index a William Day was bap 12 May 1695 son of William and Sarah at West Wratting and William Day bap 24 Sept 1693 Balsham son of Nicholas and Ann (nee Carleton).
Hopefully you can help me shed light on this!!

William Day c1580 is my 13x gt grandfather, he married Margaret Leach and their 3 children were bapt in Burrough Green, William c1601, Luke c1603 amd Em c1605.
William married Ann Reeve in Wood Ditton 1626. They had 7 children William 1627, Ann 1628, Catherine 1631, Emma 1633, Mary 1637 Married James Haslewood (and thereby became related to me again!), William 1639 and Samuel 1643 all in Wood Ditton.
Catherine married George Taylor of Kirtling.
