Kate Maud Webb B 1883c

I am looking for the parents of Kate Maud Webb.On 1891 Census she is 8yrs niece born Bream. With George Smith and Esther Smith (Was Webb) so from Esthers family I presume.
On 1911 census as Boarder single aged 28yrs with Clara Thomas as Head in Breams Eaves.
I have not got her on 1901 census if anyone can help with that.
But who were her parents ?

Monmouth district included West Dean in Gloucestershire, where Kate was living in the 1891 census (RG12/4339 f33 p19 - original census in care of TNA).

Hi,

George and Esther Smith adopted Oliver Thomas (Edwin Oliver Thomas) my husbands Grandfather and thats another story!! Kate is with them in 1891 and on 1911 census with Clara Thomas Olivers wife as boarder ,Oliver is in Abertillery on 1911 census. Webbs and Smiths are in the Family Bible,thats my interest in Kate.

Hi Jinni

In 1859 in Monmouth district there was a George Smith and a Esther Webb on the same page, could be there marraige?

In the 1871 census George and Esther have a nephew with them called Alfred Webb,aged 9, Esthers brother.

I couldnt find Kate on IGI but I think I found Alfred.
Alfred Webb, born 15 APR 1863 Saint James, Bream, Gloucester, mother Sarah Webb, but there was no father listed.

Hi,
Thanks for all that info,George Smith and Esther/Hesther Webb married 26.4.1859,they never had any children of their own.In 1891 George Smith Esther, Kate Maud Webb, Oliver Thomas, John Carver are all living together.
Then in 1911 Oliver is married to Clara and living with them are Kate Webb and John Carver.I am wondering if Oliver just moved his wife Clara into the house with them all (They married in 1897) just a thought.I think I will have to send for Birth Certificate of Kate to find who her parents were.
