The GRO index has an 1885 birth for a Minnie Florence COOTE in Royston.

This appears to match up with an 1891 census entry in Royston

Children Joseph 10, Mary 7, Minnie 5, George 3, Rose 1
brother John COOTE aged 20 also in the household

Does this correspond with the marriage certificate?

Just a case of slogging away through the GRO index of deaths, as an alternative you might try the Probate Calendar. You may be able to limit your search if you can find them in any directories.

They was both born and stayed in Royston but have looked through Royston death records and they are not there,so yes looks like hard slogging of going through death records
