I would like to add a footer to my postings, as I note others have done, but cannot find a way to do this.
Can someone point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Sue

Go to your User CP (Control Panel) and in the left hand menu click on Edit Signature. I think there's a limit to how much you can include, but try experimenting!

Well. I must be thick, because I can't find 'Edit Signature' anywhere.

So what are you seeing in the LH menu? Edit Signature (for me) is in the third section, under Settings and Options.

Sue, Arthur and the rest
The edit signature option is not available for everyone. If you don't have this showing, one day you will be notified that you have been rewarded with this.

Well it looks as though I need to wait to be rewarded then.
I have:
Edit Avitar
Edit Email & Password
Edit Options
Edit Ignore List
No where in that lot is there Edit Signature

I don't think I knew about it being a reward - thanks for enlightening us, Neil. However, I can't for the life of me think what I did to earn it, unless it's just that I've been here longer than Sue. (Though her posting rate is considerably higher than mine.)

Thank you Bo Peep.
I had not previously noticed that, otherwise I wouldn't have asked.

Arthur it's because you joined the forum when it first started. Everyone had a signature then. It wasn't until later - and after several people abused the privilege with commercial advertising or large blinkies - that the signature was restricted.

Thanks for the further explanations.
