Thought of a few more questions :

Can anyone tell me what a "relief Officer" may have done or been during the time period of roughly 1830-50 in the Weymouth area ?

Can anyone tell me the names of the schools in that area around the time of 1840 to 1860 ? I'm told Samuel Royal attended what were called "British and Town Hall Schools " in the Weymouth area.
