Please can SKS help me find the missing link in my g-grandmother's life.
She was born ISETT WONNACOTT c 1817 in Tavistock (although 1851 census says Tiverton). She married RICHARD WILLIAMS on March 31, 1839 and appears in the 1841 census at her parents' address in King St. Tavistock, along with daughter MARY aged 1. Her husband, a copper miner at the time, was absent.
In 1851 they are together at 35 Cowick Street, Exeter St Thomas, with three additional children, ELIZABETH b 1845, ELIZA LUKE b 1847, and RICHARD b 1850.
Another daughter AGNES WONNACOTT WILLIAMS was born in 1852 and possibly other children, but her husband RICHARD, now a Railway Guard, was killed by a train in May 1858.
In 1881 she was living with daughter AGNES nt.

In 1881 she was living with daughter AGNES and s-in-l WILLIAM SLOGGETT at 17 Sidwell St. Exeter. She died later that year while on a visit to either ELIZABETH or MARY who were both living in Dover. At the same time ELIZA LUKE WILLIAMS was at an address in London.
But where was ISETT WILLIAMS at the time of the 1861 and 1871 censuses? Almost certainly in the Exeter/St Thomas area. REDHILLS was often mentioned in the family, but I didn't find her there in 1861. Also HACCOMBE HOUSE, which seems to be in much the sameand s-in-l WILLIAM SLOGGETT at 17 Sidwell St. Exeter. Any help in finding her or RICHARD junior or any younger children will be much appreciated.
Sincerely, FredP.
