I was given the following information for a 1851 census lookup request on another forum. Now I need the entire correct entry. Is SKS able to provide the entire entry for this family?

Isaac Burrow was a farm servant for William and Elizabeth Boutcher
at Locksbrooke farm St Thomas in Devon
(he was one of several farm labourers - the Boutcher family had several children, and 2 house servants as well)

I need to know who all the servants & farm labourers were.

Thanks.

Hello BD
These are the details from the LDS CD of the 1851 Census for Devon, Norfolk and Warwickshire. I hope you're not looking for places of birth for the servants, 'cause there aren't any :(

Thank you Ann - I appreciate you taking the time to look for that full entry very much.

And no I wasnt looking for birthplaces.

I was looking to see if the girl Isaac married in 1854 was employed at the same farm.

I'm trying to figure out how a farm boy from St Thomas parish, could have met and married a girl from St Sidwell in Exeter just 3 years later. But she's not on that list. She must still be in Exter.

So the question is - how would they have met?

But its not important.

Hello BD
Do you have the young lady's full name, then I could see if I can find her in 1851? Although I don't know that part of Devon very well, I think Broad Clyst is only about five miles from Exeter, so not too far away for the pair to meet?
Anyway, let me know if you want me to look for Isaac's future bride.
Best wishes
Ann

Thanks Anne.

Jane Selley is listed at freeBMD on the marriage record as being married to Isaac Burrow in 1854. She's probably in her 20s, and maybe working somewhere. She may not be with her family. I might need to check the 1841 for that.

Isaac and Jane's son William (my gt grandfather) listed his mothers name down on his marriage certificate as Jane Selby - thereby causing a major brickwall for years coz I could not find any Selby's that fit. :)

I appreciate you looking for me.

Hello BD
Think I may have found your Jane in 1851 :) By a bit of devious searching on the 1851 CD (Janes from St Sidwell) I found
HO107/1869 Folio 202 Page 6 FHL Film 0221017
Precinct of Bradninch Exeter
Exeter St Paul Bradn. & Cstl. Yd. Exeter.
George Pye and family - Public Accountant
Among the servants
Jane SULLY - serv - U - 24 - House Maid - Exeter St Sidwell.
I did find a Jane Selly who was a servant in Plympton St Mary, she was 28, a Ladies Maid but she was born in Torpoint.
Best wishes
Ann

Thanks Anne - That info is very much appreciated.

I plan to purchase the 1841 Exeter & Ottery St Mary census CDs and hopefully I can find both their families.
